Soft Games Screenplay – Chapter 1
Story starts with Nora being worried about her shack on an island as a storm rages ferociously. She then spots a cat in danger and decides to save him.
Soon after, the storm passes but Nora’s shack is totally destroyed. In her signatre optimistic spirit, Nora thinks of it as a great reason to start a renovation process.
She gets a call from her best friend Mary who’s eager to catch up with Nora’s life. She’s excited to know that Nora’s seeing someone. At the same time, Mary’s baby daughter Emma has grown big enough to talk a few words. Soon due to poor connectivity, the phone call gets disrupted.
And just then Carlos, the guy who Nora’s been seeing arrives on the scene. As the two flirt for a bit, they finish renovating Nora’s shack together. That’s when Carlos floats around the idea of working together on the island. Carlos could teach people to surf while Nora runs the shack. Nora is about to say yes– but just then she gets a phone call from her hometown. There was an accident involving her best friend Mary. Cliffhanger!
